Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Car Confident collects and how it's used.

Information we collect: your email address (for account creation and login), and, if you use Service History, records you choose to save — service type, date, cost, mileage, shop name, and photos of receipts you upload.

How we use it: to provide the app's features, including maintenance reminders and the AI receipt-scanning tool. Receipt photos are processed by a third-party AI service (Anthropic) to extract service details; photos are not shared for any purpose beyond providing this feature to you.

Third parties we work with: Paddle (payment processing for Pro subscriptions — Paddle handles your payment details directly; we do not store your card information), OneSignal (push notifications for reminders), and our app hosting/database provider.

Your data, your control: you can delete your Service History records at any time within the app. To request full account deletion, contact carconfidenthelp@gmail.com.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
